At clinic defenses I learned what a difference music makes. It changes the atmosphere and gives everyone something collective to do in between chants. I’ve had We Shall Not Be Moved rattling around my head all day
Everyone I know who has survived being an activist long term has found a way to bring art and joy to the work they do. Not just for them, but for the people they work with
