His chest throbs from the effort and he wants nothing more than to swim to the surface, whichever direction that may be in—but as soon as he opens his eyes, angry flares of purple lighting up the murky water around him completely snuff out his hopes.

As for Bride of Netheris, it feels like it will be a "cheat" book project since it somehow progresses out of blue but also I don't think it's something people may like so I'm on a fence with that ahaha ;;
