It has to do with the way they map WINE drive letters for Proton compatibility. So "C:/", for example, becomes part of the file path. I mean, tbh, there's probably *some* way around it, but if the issue has persisted this long, I bet it's not trivial.

That's absolutely not the reason, lmao. the reason is because Proton uses colons in file and directory names, which is an illegal character in NTFS.

4 of my travelers are underleveled because I didn't care to use them once I finished their stories. So now I have to go back to the save point outside the final area, grind for levels and jobs, then go back, do the boss gauntlet, then attempt the final boss. And if I fail, I have to do the gauntlet
