Saying a Calvin and Hobbes adaptation would dethrone it's status as great literature is like saying Lord Of The Rings is no longer a legendary piece of literature because of the movie adaptions, even though the Peter Jackson trilogy are masterpieces that heightened interest in Tolkien's works.
A "great piece of literature" is great regardless of any ancillary products that are created from it, and if an ancillary product causes you to lose regard that piece of literature what you like is not the literature but the status of liking it.

People complained about "rainbow capitalism" but if this is the alternative, bring it back.
I know corporations don't give a shit about you and their branding hides their internal abuses, but if they have to be outwardly pro-LGBT to increase profits that's a sign society is in the right direction.

There were definitely less "great" episodes per season of the Simpsons after 2000 but it's not like every single episode released after Season 7 was terrible. Overall the quality was still decent and there were still some bangers released

Since I was a kid I had a lot of badass ideas in my autistic brain that I didn't have the skill to put into a big quality work but I try anyways.

I can't tell you how many Stellaris mods I've refused to download BECAUSE THE FUCKING MODDER GENERATED AI
This is how I feel every time a writer or musical artist generates AI slop for their book/album cover, and every time a game dev or mod dev generates AI slop for assets
Also to "youtube poop" creators who are using AI voices instead of sentence splicing, fuck you you're not making real youtube poop

-Goes into regular battle royale mode and completes quest
-Finds grenade, pulls it out, and proceeds to throw it on the ground
-Kills self to get back to hub to turn in quest
