You have until the 30th to see the animated short written and directed by two employees at Disney Animation, Nathan Engelhardt and Jeremy Spears, Forevergreen on YouTube.

It’s a very beautiful short film and highly recommended.

Finally dust off my Blu-ray copy especially for this occasion.

The final rewatch before watching the sequel during my second visit to the Mall of America.

Well, at least it’s not a sequel.

I was hoping that we get a Mickey Mouse film in that year, but I don’t want the studio to overboard with franchises either.
Jared Bush reveals that Walt Disney Animation Studios will release a new original film in 2028.

“It’s not a human world. It’s a very different style than we usually do.”

Well finally!

I was wondering if we might never see something like what they did with Cinderella and Snow White ever again, but better late than never.
Alice in Wonderland is getting a 4K remaster. The classic film from Walt Disney Animation Studios will reveal a new restoration at the 2026 TCM Classic Film Festival. I hope we get to see it soon on Blu-ray because the remasters of Cinderella and Snow White were so good.

But to make it less confusing, will call it Disney’s direct-to-video sequels) instead of Disney Animation, this will still be at Pixar, but the small interactive/video game team will be making the sequel as most of the main stuff were busy working on A Bug’s Life.

Here’s a big fun fact about Toy Story #2

This was a supposed to be a direct-to-video sequel, mainly because Disney had a wonderful start with that trend with “The Return of Jafar” from Aladdin, earning them $100 million in return.

Despite the plot not being the most original nor compelling, everything else like the animation, the gross-out humor, and characters looks great.

This could be fun.

While it’s still the fifteenth and fourth anniversaries of Tangled and Encanto, we should also remember them for being milestone makers in Disney’s animated canon, given that both features are respectively the 50th and 60th ones from that canon.
