Insurance companies are amazingly incompetent. I love getting a letter that tells me "You have new documents to view online" when I'm *signed up for paperless*. It's in more than 25 languages, so takes three pages to tell me what I knew already because I can check my account.

I do wish there was a way to follow people, but only have them show up in specific feeds. I've long since realized I can only take so much of the "political posts every five minutes" channels, and really wish I could have someplace that's just that that so everything else I follow isn't drowned out.

Public transit in the Chicago suburbs; lotta vertical, in and out of Chicago. Horizontal between the burbs? Almost nothing, and the little there is is closed weekends. It says something that to get from town to town 1/2 hr drive away requires train to Chicago then back to said town. Not friendly...

I love when I message someone at work "Hello [name], I'm reaching out for this reason due to this, can you help with that?" and they reply "hi [name]" and provide no further message for an hour. So helpful.
