I know it’s just me being an overthinker but I do feel scared my friend has started to dislike me because me and the environment that surrounds me (family, work, etc.) is too much to deal with and I don’t know how to make up for that.

I was always inclined to the fanon of Rocket Town as a safe harbor for Vincent after events of the game/movie and how he is the cat around Cid's old house, coming around as he pleases but always "curls up on his couch" and just...exists there.
Things are slowly paced in that small town. He likes it.
