I think the HORSES thing is overall very stupid, but they could not have asked for better marketing, considering they're literally using BANNED ON STEAM and BANNED ON EPIC in their thumbnails

that's a wrap on Ys IV: Mask of the Sun. lots to love: great music, lovely sprite work, and a real sense of adventure. it was a breezy ~8 hours. the last couple bosses dragged down some otherwise fun boss fights. the mazelike dungeons were tedious

i'm slowly filling in my backloggd and am currently sitting at 432, but i still feel like i'm missing a massive chunk of games. i've forgotten so many over the years. it's one of the benefits of achievements/trophies that i can at least see what i've played. no such system for Atari or NES 🥲
