This and (late game spoilers) fighting Lace in the cradle have been my biggest obstacles so far I think. Could NOT get a fucking handle on that dumb ass counter that Lace hits you with from like 18 different directions. 😅 Groal also got me pretty good because it's an arena PLUS an awful boss.

60 hours into Silksong, and this might still be the fight that's kicked my ass the worst at this point tbh...but it was also the first melody I got, which was prob a mistake!

Big flashbacks to my 112% Hollow Knight run and being stuck on Trial of the Fool for like...months. 🙃🙃

I gotta be honest I’ve been killing all the arenas in Silksong. I’m used to winning on my first try. Max secobd. Only one that gave me trouble was Hunter’s March and the birds one. But this one is making me crash out esp because after this is some big guy. This like my 4th attempt at least.

I've been thinking a lot about writing this opinion piece. Yes, Journey was a transformative experience that fundamentally changed how many of us saw the medium of videogames. But that doesn't mean we should compare all meditative indies to it.

I grew up skating, and this game speaks to me so much. After my chemo and recovery, I have a lot of lingering neuropathy in my foot, and so will likely never be able to skate again. I stepped on a board just to see recently, and I really did feel like glass.
