I for one find it very hard to believe the military has a list of alleged drug runners to blow up at will.

Also, if they're capable of tracking these boats in order to blow them up, surely they're able to track them to wherever they land and apprehend them there instead of just murdering them?

I just had the possibly most unsatisfying burrito of my life from a taqueria. I think even a Taco Bell burrito that cost $2.49 might have been better and I haven't had Taco Bell in a decade.

Chris Hayes: Trump keeps justifying the killing of more than 80 men on boats in the Caribbean as a way to save Americans from drugs, but just this week he pardoned a man who helped traffic more than 500 tons of cocaine into the U.S.

I checked my fantasy basketball team and had to look at the scores league wide. This is sincerely getting stupid. They've changed the rules so much it would be a soccer game that was 10-8 with 6 red cards for anyone playing defense.

I'm just going to say it. Even for friends that might be offended. What is wrong with people not having a microwave? I can't reheat my thai leftovers in a pot on your stove.

I'm watching something on Youtube and there's an ad for Grand Central Bowl. First how can they afford that? Second that place sucks like a lot and I have zero idea how it's still open.

The dog I'm puppy sitting for is having the cutest puppy dreams. I don't want to wake him up for a walk because of it. I will probably regret that later.

It's kinda funny how I can always tell who is writing the good morning news feed for the Portland Mercury before I even see the byline and know exactly who is mailing it in.

I kinda want to buy Monopoly to play on the weekends when my sister does laundry so we can get into a fight. It would really be a nice thing to remind us of being kids.

Tomorrow seems like a good day for knife sharpening. I always sort of enjoy doing it. It's one of those put the music on and go through the motions for 45 minutes activities.

Pete Hegseth says he’s going to court-martial me for saying the same exact thing he said 9 years ago. What changed for Pete? Well to start, he spends all day thinking about how he can suck up to Trump. When Trump says jump, he says how high.

First Bradley should have said no to doing the strike in the first place. He definitely shouldn't have followed up with a second. Also Hegseth definitely ordered it. They're so trying to throw Bradley under the bus for committing war crimes when they all committed war crimes.
The precise contours of the administration’s defense of Trump and Hegseth are still emerging, but it appears to ride on a fine distinction between the general order Hegseth gave for the attack and the specific order Adm. Mitch Bradley gave for the 2nd strike.

Pete Hegseth saying all the people on those boats he blew up were in a gang has as much credibility as me saying Pete Hegseth is a full on member of the Crips and does the C-Walk before he goes to sleep every night.
December 2, 2025 at 5:44 AM
The thing is Hegseth definitely ordered it. This is totally his style. Bradley definitely followed through with it. It doesn't make anyone more guilty than the other. Hegseth never should have ordered it and Bradley should have just said no. It's a clear war crime on all parts.
The Trump administration is shifting blame for the “kill everybody” order behind a second strike order on an alleged drug boat, killing all survivors, from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to Commander Frank “Mitch” Bradley. trib.al/B5WruvV

So Hegseth told the Admiral to kill everyone but didn't necessarily authorize the 2nd strike but he did tell him to kill everyone. So now Bradley and Hegseth are war criminals.
REPORTER: Does the administration deny that that second strike happened, or did it happen and the administration denies that Hegseth gave the order?

LEAVITT: The latter. Secretary Hegseth authorized Admiral Bradley to conduct these kinetic strikes. He worked well within his authority and the law.

He also promised $5000 in DOGE checks on top of this $2000. Nobody will ever see this money.
To hear President Trump tell it, Americans will be doling out “thousands of dollars for individuals of moderate income, middle income.”

But distributing $2,000 payments to certain Americans is easier said than done, with several obstacles in the way—including insufficient revenue. trib.al/LwqKsJm

I ordered groceries. Not a problem. Have been doing it for years. Saves me shopping time and not having to drive. Usually I get notifications about the order. Today I got nothing and they showed up 30 minutes before the earliest time I said. Guess it was good I was home.

I'm not a big soda drinker but why is it that grocery stores have turned into you can buy 5 2 liters of soda for $2 each but if you only buy 1 it's $4.50 each? Like...just sell it for $2 each like normal humans. If I want to buy a cart of soda I'd have a Costco membership.

My dad just asked if I was always left handed. I said nope. He asked why I do everything with my left hand then. Well...20 years ago I tripped on a piece of concrete that was upraised while running and I broke my right elbow and couldn't use that arm for 6 months so now I just use my left.
