In a functioning democracy, a state should not have to sue for a duly elected official to be seated.

Democrats avoid accountability for Republicans for the same reason that they always find enough members to side with Republicans to pass anything the rich want to see passed, or block anything they don't. Because for a lot of Democrats, they side with the system that gave them power, not the voters.

That's the point there is no need to hear this case unless you plan to over rule the lower courts. They've been systematically rewriting the constitution by verdict under a lawless regime.
There isn’t much for our Supreme Court to hear, the Constitution is already clear. And just to be absolutely clear: the Supreme Court does not have the power to overrule or rewrite our Constitution.
