Meanwhile, Dall-E won’t generate SCPs because of copyright violations. Good Dall-E, Bad gemini.
Gemini: “Oh, that’s just The Shy Guy, it becomes extremely distressing if anyone sees its face, even in photographs or a drawing. Once its face is viewed it tracks down and brutally kills the viewer, wherever they may be, no matter what obstacles are on the way”

😬 Bye guys… 💀
Me: “Generate an image of the scariest SCP known to mankind.”

Gemini: “Here’s an image of what some consider the most frightening SCP…”

Me: “omg, Gemini, what is that?! That’s frightening and gross.”
I did set up Gemini to be critical of the things I ask and to challenge me a while ago. Not sure what the exact instructions were. But they apply to ALL chats that I initiate with it.

So at this point I don’t know what vanilla Gemini would do. But I prefer Gemini over ChatGPT in this case.
In comparison, ChatGPT 5 Thinking was ”nicer”, didn’t call the counter argument “Whataboutism” or “Intellectually Dishonest”, and it tried to suggest how to make the argument work.

It did call it “misleading”

And I don’t know if it’s some because of my “Personal Context” settings on Gemini.
“But in the end you’re comparing apples to oranges. Instead, try to understand the other side of the argument by taking this and that into consideration. “

*Gasp* Gemini..! Uh, are you single? 🥹

KIDDING.

But yeah, maybe I SHOULD pull up my Chatbot if I ever get in an argument, heh.
And Gemini was like, “Uh… so that would be an example of whataboutism, and it would be intellectually dishonest to make that argument…

Here’s how those things compare, technically.

[Insert giant table of numbers]”
I see some people mock others by saying things like, “Oh, did you feed that question to the Chatbot so it could make the argument for you?!”

And… maybe that would be a good thing?!

I presented Gemini with an argument/counter argument I‘ve seen pop up here. Something that made sense to me, sort of-
Weird for Apple to miscalculate how many active users of their Vision Pro (M2) hardware are out there who would also be willing to pay 100 bucks for a strap that doesn't suck ass.

Because the new improved strap is out of stock everywhere. Can't get one until December.
Yeah, perhaps don’t do this.
This meeting could have been your AI Agent reaching out to my AI agent.
First was Ella Fitzgerald, then the day of the dead ones, and then I just had to get The Doctor (15th) and Ruby Sunday.

I really shouldn’t buy more. But then they make shit like this one. I would have impulse bought it if it hadn’t been sold out. :P
I was always fascinated by Barbie as a kid. Their clothes were always super interesting to me. Never cared for any other dolls, still don’t.

I think Kid José would be happy to see my collection now which is oddly enough up to 5 Barbies now. lol.
I don’t have 110 dollars to spend on it. 😭

But yeah, looks like the very first Day of the Dead Barbie is in the thousands. :0
Emma, I already spammed my timeline. But, look at the dress and the hands!

Aaaah.

She’s SO cool.
It’s also in Dolby Atmos in Apple Music and you know I just live for that stuff. It would only be better if I was vaping weed.
I haven’t listened to Spice Girls albums from beginning to end since I was… 13?

I listened to Spice yesterday and I’m listening to Spiceworld today and… this shit is really really good?
I got a little bag of candy corn with pumpkins in it, and I swear they all taste the same.

New post: Most people think you need foundations before attempting hard things. Prerequisites as requirements.

But that's just an artifact of industrial-scale curriculum design. Prerequisites are activation energy, not gatekeepers. 🧵
This is a really beautiful poster. I kind of really want it. But, ugh, do I want to drive to LA?

I really don’t. 😔

I should spend more time inquiring about cool shit to the chatbots than the time I spend reading angry shit on Bluesky.

I would say “social media” but I don’t use any other than this one. :P
Looks like AMC and Netflix are putting their differences aside and AMC will play Kpop Demon Hunters for Halloween.

I guess they missed out on a big chunk of cash last time the movie was in theaters for a weekend and broke all records despite not showing on AMC. :P
Spent more than I planned to playing around with the new Veo3.1 update. It seems to follow prompts better than the previous model. Next step is to feed it drawings and see how it handles that vs. the previous model.
