My Grandfather use to watch me take some of the whole (non broken) biscuits out of the biscuit tin and then he would roll his eyes and say, you do know that they all go down the same hole, don’t you.

My Grandfather lived until he was 100 years of old.

In the UK when someone reaches the age of 100 years old, they get a Birthday card from the Royal Family.

Even thou my Grandfather had dementia, his face glowed with delight, when the card was shown to him.

There was a time that I can remember when my Grandmother said to my Grandfather, you are married to her than me, you spend more time idealising her than me.
(Her, meaning the Queen)
My Grandfather loved the Queen & Royal family, he collected lots of things about them, like cups, glasses etc.

I think that it is good to reminisce about good times that happed in the past.

I believe that when a person reminisce about past good times it is a way of coping, taking time out / away from all what seems crazy in this modern world.

Some eye-catching sunrise shots from last week, before it started to rain, for the rest of the day. As often happens, the whole 'show' lasted just under 20 minutes and, then the sky turned a sullen grey.

Sunrise; top half of the frame is a blend of light purple, deeper blue and pink coloured clouds. The silhouette of a poplar is backed by bands of deep blue grey and hot orange coloured clouds. The horizon is a line of conifers silhouetted against orange, pink & purple.

Pre-dawn sunrise. Neon pink streaks against deep blue clouds. A line of conifers and leafless poplars are silhouetted against a salmon coloured strip of sky. The right side of the frame has the silhouette of a poplar with most of it's leaves.

Neon pink striations over top of deep purplish blue clouds fill the middle of the frame. Top of the frame is greyish blue, moody looking clouds.
Bottom of the frame is silhouettes of poplars.
