Nadim Zahawi arrived in the UK from Iraq as a child refugee. His family claimed asylum once they were here. Today he has joined Reform who will stop all in country asylum applications. Under his new party, his own family fleeing persecution would be immediately deported.

Amazingly, Zahawi only got round to deleting the below after the press conference announcing his defection to Reform.

See carrick is the front runner for man utd temp job, but the real question is the "before players return to training on wednesday"

No wonder united are shite.

I think though, aberdeen over the last 10 years has had some great young talent, more than other.

The problem is we cannot retain them and only sometimes get money for them.

Mckenna, ramsey, (barron), lobban, bavedige, always that feeling of "what it" we could have kept them

But they all want awa

I also think a hearts title win would be a good thing.
Would i be jealous, aye.

I dunno who i want to manage us, but all the names linked are dire so far.

Just feel we've been a bit high risk on resale prospects emboldened by miovski.
Lazetic was a buy and showcase - which looks daft just now - but if we get him scoring could be good.

Just not sure we can afford to work like that.

Been saying that for a couple of weeks, JT experimented with topi or poundshop ronaldo playing off both of them, but only tried both very briefly and it kinda worked.

We've nothing to lose now this season so might as well start trying stuff

Too right we do. I still can't believe having lived through from the Seventies this had to be said out loud. We had all these conversations over the the last fifty plus years.

I actually think Lazetic has an edge we don't usually have in a forward, can't fault nis's work rate and bilalovic might be good.

The problem is service - one up and that one is always in a channel instead of y'know striking.

Combine that with the sideways and back but never forward passing.....

SGoat McTominay with another brace.

Still laugh at Man Utd fans who wanted him out. Know nothing idiots
January 11, 2026 at 10:03 PM
Yeah, since Cormack came in it has been obvious the players coming in are picked and judged by committee and not all by their ability but also commercial or resale value.

Think that may be the problem.

Think the ref was wrong with lacey red card.

Refs often get things wrong and breed frustration.

The lad shouldn't show it but the ball was not aimed at anyone and with multiball he wasn't even delaying the game.

Its been a very poor week for officials north and south.

Man utd have to appoint keane in some capacity now.

Nothing to lose as they will miss CL spots more than likely so worst he can do is drop them a few places.

Do it for the banter effect!
January 11, 2026 at 8:27 PM
Quite probable.
Just don't think sacking him has achieved anything but make the window an absolute car crash in that we can't strengthen and probably not even get rid of dead wood either.

Just shows how stuck Jimmy was with the players we have. Something isn't right at a deeper level
January 11, 2026 at 8:21 PM
Still say it was a mistake to sack Jimmy the way we did.

In an open window and no real replacement.

Leven being on staff means we haven't got the bounce you would have hoped from a change.

Don't rate suman myself so probably say keep mitov but his two sit down protests at corners are unacceptable
January 11, 2026 at 7:49 PM
Karlsson should be away in the window.
Bilalovic and nisbett are ahead of milanovic
Need to get Armstrong, polvara and oochie in the middle.
Need to find a way to play nis abd lazetic.

More important need to be quicker to possession and attack too much sideways and back.

Yes, but I can’t help be stunned at how fucking stupid the 2/3 of voters are to believe the lies.
It's almost as if years of relentless media saturation bombing of flat-out lies, demonisation and blaming don't help the public to understand what is actually happening.
January 11, 2026 at 6:18 PM
We could be as much as 8pts from top 6 if games in hand go against us.

Sack the manager!!
