It doesn't happen often, but I'll occasionally come across an episode of House Hunters that has someone wary of buying a haunted house. It's usually a deal breaker! This one is a real gem.
Half hour in, I've lost track of how many times they've joked about the dude lead being a serial killer/axe murderer. And the chick at the bakery trash-talked the (lactose intolerant) lady lead as a way to goad her into joining the baking competition. #HallmarkChristmasMovies #CountdownToChristmas

I think the dad character in this (embarrassingly I recognize him from the later years of Beverly Hills, 90210) is a Socialist? www.hallmarkchannel.com/coyote-creek...

Catfish Hunter's landmark free agency in 1975 hinged on Charlie Finley's failure to make $50K worth of annuity payments, a form of salary deferral. Bruce Sutter's 1984 deal with Atlanta was 50% deferred, with payments extending through 2022, the last year of his life. www.forbes.com/sites/danfre...
A thing I learned today I'd never known before: In 2004, Colorado signed Vinny Castilla to a 1 year, $2.1 million contract. It was mostly deferred and he gets a little more than $100k each year from 2015-2019. Deferrals have been around forever, really.

In 2004, there was perhaps no recruiting battle more intriguing than the one over Governor Mifflin Senior High School third baseman Zach Lutz.

He saw success at Alvernia college, but his transition to pro ball was a different experience.

A good time was had by me (and probably everyone else there) at the Mountain Goats IOP concert this evening. We even got an in memoriam(?) shoutout to the legendary Charlie McAlister.
