Spotted this morning on my way to work, this lovely Jaguar XJ X300. I see this car a few times going the opposite direction and what a comfortable drive it is. Btw, it's TBT so here's a pic of the X300 I owned for a few months and sold in September 2021

Just ordered a set of front corner plates (L+R) including jacking points for the E12. Great feedback from other E12 owners regarding Valcas Garage (based in Lithuania) who makes these and some classic BMW panels from scratch and fit is very good.

Popped into town earlier today and saw the MG Cyberster for the first time in the flesh and in the wild. It's a bit bigger than i thought, it has a nice interior and I like it. Just not sure about the rear arrow shaped light clusters, but that's about it #mg

I very rarely get negative comments on Youtube, but Facebook groups are full people that have nothing else to do. This person in particular has been snarky comments on my posts on two different FB BMW groups, but I decided that enough, is enough. Thank goodness for the block button

This 1985 BMW 320i. It was a mess when I bought it and soon after i noticed the heater was bypassed as the matrix leaked, engine overheated, leaked oil and electrics were dodgy. Had for two months before i sold it as spares/repairs

The white 323i was mine for 6 years, despite being 2.5 years in bits. The Focus was the longest daily for 4 years. The E12, I owned it for 3 years when I first had it and now for the 2nd time I own it, it's been with me for 3.5 years. My wife has has her Focus for 5.5 years

I just had a read through the budget to search for changes in VED for cars and there is no change regarding the 40 year rolling exemption for classic vehicles.
A lot of debate and consequent division was sparked by a rumour by an MP and some Youtubers seized on it.
Shame on you!

My Focus Ti/Vct has a stuck thermostat and I asked Ford about a new one... £370+VAT! But not in stock, so it's special order. The thermostat for my wife's Ecoboost cost less than £100 at Ford, which is madness.

Have you used this sealant after you install your windscreens? This is for classics with the rubber seal, not the bondes ones. It seals, but doesnt glue in like silicone.
I've seen a few cars with this grey putty between the rubber and bodywork and also on the glass insert.

The thermostat on the Focus is stuck open and only lukewarm air comes into the cabin, while the temp gauge needle at the bottom, even after my 25 mile commute. So, I am doing this as a temporary solution until I replace the thermostat. It'll be weeks until i find the time to do it
