Snow is just a nice soft place to sleep, to a bison. They're impervious to the cold. There metabolism doesn't even flinch till it gets down to around -40°F.

A few minutes ago, Great Egret and reflection at bottom of rip rap next to Emery Cove Marina. It was at a distance with my iPhone so resolution isn't great, but the grace and beauty of the shape and the reflection appealed to me. Emeryville, California.
