Yeah, I'd looked into it a bit. I think this tree is some import, not necessarily native to here. (There are lots of plants in my neighborhood that aren't original to this part of the world.) Here's another pic that came out kinda artistic-looking—it's me just pointing the camera into a bucket. :)

A pair of Redpolls have been occasional visitors in my yard in NW Wisconsin this winter. Their presence varies year to year depending on food availability further north. There were so many in the winter 0f 2021-2022 that they were hard to count. 🪶

My electric power is restored. Hallelujah. I was more worried about the food in the fridge than me. LOL. Thankfully, it's not freezing here in Reno like it normally would this time of year. We are having a light winter so far. The image is my screensaver. It is a ying & yang cat. I think it's cool.
