Oh thank you. I did not know that. I liked to support SNP even though I could not currently vote for them as Stephen Flynn seemed to be the only MP at Westminster who spoke up for the things I believe in. Even if they could not have my vote they could have my subs. I'll look into rejoining.

Since 1976 I've been a member of a political party. Until 2019 It was Labour. Then after the coup, I joined @snp.org even though I lived in England and then a couple of years ago I switched to @greenparty.org.uk.

Today my 66 y/o wife joined her FIRST EVER party. Thanks to @zackpolanski.bsky.social

The problem is that much of the public does not see price rises in privatised companies as due to government policy

It's easier to link tuppence on a box of eggs to those in power than it is when an utility company hikes its prices. Another Thatcher con-trick.
