But unfortunately all the fun ones aren't QUITE right cause of my astigmatism so they're not always the best to wear for office/desk work

Buried in Michigan's antiporn bill is a provision to effectively outlaw "circumvention tools," such as VPNs.

Mark my words: legislators will increasingly leverage porn panic to restrict or ban VPNs, and to limit internet privacy far beyond adult sites.

Silver lining, learned that my favorite tasting apple of the ones I collected today is from the easiest tree to safely get to and also while I was collecting my samples one of the local cows came over to hang out by the farm fence nearby so I got to go over and see one of them up close finally

Courage the Cowardly Dog Voice: The things I do for science.....

The last tree I visited today to collect samples from was set back behind a DENSE blackberry thicket with only a small deer trail of a path into it. It's a miracle I only have a few scratches on only my hands.

Looking up at the apple tree at all the fruit I cannot reach without being directly underneath which is physically impossible without cutting down the blackberry.

MISSION SUCCESS. These tiny bastards were so small they fit between the tines of the harvesting tool and the multiple attempts to actually pull some down when I withdrew the tool is where my hands got caught.
And they didn't even taste super good. >:((((

I forget who it was that rec'd it, but that tiny pet hair detail trimmer is a godsend. It's small enough that it only takes a little at a time so it stops my wobbly hands from pressing too hard and taking off a huge chunk and it's small so it's great for awkward spaces!

Not the best comparison since the hair covers most of it in the right picture but an after and before shaving comparison for Eidolon's head. Most noticable on the ears where I was able to shape the tips better.

Freshly trimmed, more of the fabric is smoothed out and the ears look less gangly

Shared the other day, Eidolon head WIP with the hair draped in place. The ears are shaggy and some of the face fur looks choppy and unkempt

At least I got Eidolon's ear tufts shaved down and everything vacuumed so I can work more on assembly

the city of los angeles burned in january in part because of a man who couldn’t stop generating images of burning cities on ChatGPT, and then after he lit the fire he asked if the fire he started was his fault
