Clearly a bunch of change is going to have to come at the federal level. But it's important to do this kind of work at the state and local levels, too. It's possible to significantly block ICE's ability to do harm in specific communities, or barring that, to at least slow them down. Every bit helps.
Local govt is so implicated in this ICE concentration camp supply chain system, ICE buys local intel w federal $$. In #MarinCounty, a crucial board of supervisors is coming up on 1/20/26 that will determine whether the county Sheriff should stop ALL engagement with ICE. airtable.com/appKraqKcErI...
