Nothing particular stands out but I'm proud of the amount of commitment I 've shown to writing fanfics. I can be flighty when it comes to hobbies and interests but, given that this is more akin to an obsession, I have really stuck to it in a way that is uncommon for me and it makes me really proud.

Chapter Text Ed wakes up with a satisfied moan and an indulgent stretch. He’s heartened by the way his ribs only ache rather than throb, and his knee complains rather than screams. He’s not exactly leaping out of bed like a spring lamb but he’s definitely closer to slinking around like a cat, albeit an elderly one. And that’s a massive step up from the calcified starfish he felt like at the start of this whole journey. As he pulls himself up to sit, little party poppers crack along his spine, like his body wants to celebrate his continual revitalisation.
