All I’m saying is maybe we shouldn’t have stopped bullying the Nazi kids in school.

It’s incredible that the VT State Senator wrapped up in this hasn’t resigned yet — every major GOP leader in the state has called for his resignation. Fixing democracy requires restoring shame to public life. And accountability. Lots of accountability. vtdigger.org/2025/10/14/v...

Sure why not just let Uribe finish the game here.
gilmansg13.bsky.social
Lol Murphy getting Uribe up.

Yovani was very similar in that it would seem like he’d get to an 0-2 or 1-2 count and then spend like 6 pitches trying to get the strikeout.

I can’t explain it but Peralta is the pitcher that I never feel confident having on the mound despite his numbers being very good to excellent so consistently.

Especially when one of the rosters has 4 former MVPs and 2 Cy Young winners and the biggest payroll in baseball history.

That ball started on the inner part of the zone on a 2-strike count. He’s gearing up to potentially have to swing when it darts hard inside at his back knee. I don’t know how people expect him to turn into it or risk severe injury off his kneecap at that point.

Something that is alarming....Yelich has had 54 playoff ABs since 2018 and does not have a single RBI...when you talk about not winning a series...this is an issue

I mean, the Dodgers also had a 2x Cy Young winning starting pitcher they just signed to a $36M/year deal and had runs driven in by 2 former MVP hitters with contracts worth more than $500m combined.

It’s not exactly the same thing.

Regarding Turang getting out of the way of that pitch, I can’t bring myself to get mad. That’s all instinct and was heading straight for his back knee.

Would have been ball 3.

Well they can’t throw Snell every game at least. Problem is they can also throw Yamamoto and Shohei and Kershaw and Glasnow.

The Brewers should really try to sign more $30m AAV pitchers.

potentially the most accurately officiated/announced play in sports history, the umps and the announcer knew exactly what was happening on a once-in-a-lifetime play

what in the hell just happened in Milwaukee
gilmansg13.bsky.social
I’ve played and watched a shit ton of baseball and I can safely say I’ve never seen anything like that.

You’re also discounting that Counsell is literally from here. He chose to go elsewhere which is his call, he’s earned that right. But Brewers fans especially don’t have to like it. And I promise you if the Cubs won that game their celebration would have been just as ‘mean’. That’s the rivalry.

Again, every time this happens, we literally have no idea if the masked, plainclothes people are actual government agents, or private citizens acting in party-affiliated paramilitaries. The whole point of IDs & uniforms & no masks is that we know these things.

Especially with how bad that Bengals offense was up to that point.

Can’t wait for the super conservative offensive series we’re about to see here.
