I feel attacked. I will never do it unless I have to. 🤠

Reminder that no one outside of that miserable little island is under any obligation not to name David Cleary

The Australian ambassador is learning Gaeilge as well!
And yes, British justice is an utter sham.

British rule in Ireland is an oxymoron.
One would normally say it’s a shameful day for British justice as is a typical saying in normal circumstances,

But it’s not that. The British state will never never imprison any soldier who participated in the north. They made sure to obstruct any attempt for decades. The result was by design.
A former paratrooper has been found not guilty of the murders of two men and the attempted murders of five men during the events of Bloody Sunday in 1972. jrnl.ie/6852291

They will never see justice. It’s utterly sad to say that.
Hey gaeilgeoirí, I am trying to learn written Gaeilge at the moment.

Apart from Collins books, do you have any good recommendations?

Social media accounts, books or apps will do. No Duolingo tho.

Go raibh maibh agibh!

Can yous imagine the State shitstorm if the far left or militant republicans even did a fraction of all the shite the far right is committing?
Gardaí say two officers hospitalised after tonight’s second night of violence in Citywest. 23 arrests made.
I swear Cuomo is a literal character from the Sopranos.
Britain just lucked out.

It was still a global power at the time.
Oh boy.

I hope every legally settled person living in Britain is developing an exit plan.
Ofc, they tend to coast on their hearing when scrolling.

But I would expect more from a tech journalist when calling such visuals “realistic”.
Martin McGuinness was understatedly funny.

I read an account (after his death) in which he was able to convince a Shankill lad a UI was in his interest.

I was floored. He was really persuasive.
They are authoritarian in nature.

They will gladly dismantle the democratic norms if they take power. You don’t really want them there.
Good catch. I have no idea how accurate the audio is.

I just wanted to counterpoint the “realistic visuals” point.
As a Deaf person, I can tell you the visuals are off. The facial/lip movement looks exaggerated.
They’d possibly be the same people who refused to sell land to local Catholics.

Allegedly. Local history can be mad if you heard it from the locals….

The safest Dáil seat in Irish politics, arguably. Being middle class & Presbyterian is all it takes to win! The ultimate cheat code in rural Cavan/Monaghan politics.
Why didn’t Fine Gael nominate Sean Kelly is genuinely beyond me.
Sean Kelly is exactly what MM thought Gavin was, funnily enough.
Like a certain ex FGer in Tipp.
Yeah, exactly. I don’t agree with her for obvious reasons. I just feel bad for HH, knowing her personally.
It’s on Fine Gael for running Heather Humphreys in the first place

It’s kinda wild that two main establishment parties messed it up in the same presidential election.

People just simply like authentic candidates. Sin é
