A veteran being "proud of their service" doesnt mean they are proud of the actions the US Military takes around the world .

For most (at least before 2024) Joining the military isnt an effort to support genocide or inflict imperialism.

For most, its the opposite.

I just had an epiphany.
If we just name all these aid programs, "something something police bureau" they'll get all the funding they need, and more even.

Example. Supplemental Nutrition assistance Program, will became the "Supplemental Nutrition Police Bureau".

Why should trans women have to shoulder the burden for a strangers trauma, at the hands of another stranger? Why should they be the only demographic treated as 'guilty, until proven innocent, and then banned anyway', it's genuine madness, and not something you would accept for anyone else in society

Anti-gay jokes, and slurs are a staple of military culture. To erase them from yourself is tough, especially if you remain plugged into the vet community.

And, I myself have worked-A LOT-since 2020 to be a better person.

But all that combined with the nazi tattoo is a hard bill to swallow.
