New Years Eve a few years ago, I was trying to open a bottle of champagne and having trouble. Put it between my legs, pulled the corkscrew, and finally got the cork out. I also put a gash on my nose with the corkscrew 🙃
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

Everything that is happening now? Is what many of us fully expected the first time around. I've never wanted to be wrong more in my life, but this is not a surprise in the least. How the other side didn't see it is truly beyond me. I mean, they wrote it all down in a report!

Watching Better Call Saul; it's well-done but exhausting to watch straight, white men struggle with success that was undeserved in the first place. I know Carol is similar, but her struggle is deeper (you try being closeted, sent to conversion camp, not being accepted by your loved ones, etc, etc).

lolololol So happy I left that shitty app in Jan. And let me tell you, I freaking lived on FB - it wasn't easy to walk away. But I think I'm surviving Orange Foolius Part II better mentally without it.
I freaking love Carol Sturka and do not understand the hate the character gets. Tell me you don't know any super intelligent, middle-aged, crusty but benign (white) lesbians. I know so many and I love 'em all. I do enjoy takes from Black women as I completely get that they see her very differently.

Coolest yrly reminder: Our fave 90s band (Versus) played a small, invite-only show to celebrate album "Two Cents Plus Tax" being 20 years old. We got invited as we followed/interacted with Richard on Facebook! It was epic and we got "stuck" in NYC so got a mini-vacay too!
