Task Manager in Windows 11 25H2 looks better after the November 2025 update.

More importantly they fixed a bug where it could be running multiple copies in the background.

Since today is Patch Tuesday for November 2025, Microsoft has released GDR updates for SQL Server 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022.

They address msrc.microsoft.com/update-guide..., which is related to a SQL injection attack.

This cowardly cave from these "moderate" Dem Senators (who don't face reelection for 4-6 years, or ever) is such a bad idea at every level.
The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

Jeez. Why do so many younger folks want to call vinyl records (aka records or albums) "vinyls"?

"Let's listen to some vinyls". "I just bought Taylor Swift's latest vinyl".

Nobody EVER called them vinyls.

Now get off my lawn, you damn kids!

We’re thrilled to kick off this Election Night celebrating the passage of Props LL & MM!

Once again, Coloradans came together to make sure every kid — no matter their zip code or parent’s job — can count on healthy, free meals at school.

This is an example of how "Red" and out of touch Elbert County, CO voters are. Propositions LL and MM tax very high-income folks a very small amount to fund free school lunches for all children.

They both passed with very wide margins for the entire state, but not in Elbert County...

The GOP/MAGA got slapped around pretty badly in nearly every state and local race last night, both in Colorado and in many other states.
UPDATE: Dems lead every city council race in Aurora, Colorado - and could flip a 7-3 GOP majority into a 6-4 Dem edge - including what would be a shocking upset of MAGA media star Danielle Jurinsky, whose claims of a "complete gang takeover" led Trump to call Aurora "conquered." #copolitics

Well, I have at least early voted in the current election, and it has been counted.

If Microsoft keeps to their recent pattern for SQL Server patches and updates, we should see SQL Server 2022 CU22 released on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

There also might be GDR updates for SQL Server 2016 and newer on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (Patch Tuesday).

This is a FB post from the Elizabeth School District (in Colorado) where they are bragging about doing unannounced K9 searches of a Middle School, supposedly looking for illegal drugs.

This seems problematic (to me, as a non-lawyer) from a legal and civil rights perspective.

It is so frustrating and sad to see Trump turn the Whitehouse into a Temu Mar-a-Lago with all of the tacky gold leaf in the Oval, and the destruction of the Rose Garden and now the East Wing.
