Reporter: Do any of you have a favorite animal?

Child: My favorite one is a gold snake that can move. It has gold eyes, and it has a super-duper tail…

Reporter: Mr. Mamdani, the second question for you.

Mamdani: Yes. It’s also the golden snake.

You may recall that in January of 2025, artist Ann Telnaes announced that she had quit The Washington Post after editors killed a cartoon that depicted owner Jeff Bezos, among others, genuflecting to Trump.

This cartoon feels even more relevant this week.

👀 The Internet shutdown in Russia continues.

— We went back to the Stone Age overnight.
— Elon Musk turned off the Internet on the entire front.
— We can't use Starlinks.
— There's been no Internet since February 5th, I'm going crazy here.
— We have no connection to guide missiles.

Ohio,

GOPs Jon Husted has let folks down in the Buckeye State
so in 2026 send them a message

vote to elect
Sherrod Brown
for U.S. Senate

vote for someone who fights for affordability
not for billionaire donors

for someone who fights for health care
not someone who collects a check and checks out
jus sayin' Ohio,

Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, Akron and Toledo

your Senator voted to take away your health care, fund ICE, then left to vacation most of the year!

Jon Husted
DC (202)224-3353
Toledo (567)304-3777
Columbus (614)369-4925
Cleveland (216)539-7877

call Congress
focus on GOP
call their local field offices as well as DC
here's how:

search member's name
• Senator + " phone" find ".senate.gov"
• House Representative + " phone" find ".house.gov"
(that will have all the LOCAL FIELD OFFICE numbers)

America is at her best when in peaceful protest

Ran into a pop-up student protest in Waukee while heading to Des Moines for business.

Students standing in solidarity was powerful. Peaceful assembly. Making it clear this moment matters to them and their future.

Proud of these young people for taking a stand.
