I am hearing from multiple sources that the EU Commission is announcing its first DSA fine tomorrow against X on ad transparency, blue check & dark pattern, and researcher access to data.

The fine is in the "100s of millions of Euros."

A key question to Nigel Farage is this

You have said your schooldays were 40+ years ago.

Can you say categorically that you never used the most offensive racial slurs - words like the n-word, p-word and wog - as an adult?

I cannot imagine the level of moral bankruptcy to describe the actions of people whose boat has just been hit by a missile from nowhere (this was the FIRST such strike) and who were most likely making a desperate attempt not to drown in the ocean as trying to "stay in the fight."
Q: What did you see in the second strike?

Cotton: "I saw two survivors trying to flip a boat -- loaded with drugs, bound for the United States -- back over, so they could stay in the fight."

Quite breathtaking story - military grade drones at Dublin airport which flew on the path Zelensky's plane took. The drones reached the flight path of his plane exactly the time it should have been there, but just missed it because Zelensky arrived ahead of schedule:
Four unidentified military-style drones breached no-fly zone to target Zelenskyy's arrival in Dublin
Gardaí are investigating whether the drones took off from land in Dublin or from an undetected ship.

If Russia is banned for its war of aggression and atrocities against civilians in Ukraine, Israel should be banned for its genocide in Gaza.

🧵How much should the NHS worry about this winter's flu wave?

You may have seen this alarming headline on the BBC website today...

I think it's too early to make this claim and the data does not support it.

I think it will be a bad flu season but no evidence to think worse than previous yrs

An early flu surge is starting to add to pressure on A&Es in England, leaving frontline staff fighting an uphill battle to provide urgent care.

That’s our message after new NHSE data that showed a jump in flu hospitalisations compared to this time last year.

Just a vicious, lawless regime.

The spectacle of masked gangs of state vigilantes, ripping people out of cars in full view of the street, is a terrible reminder of how quickly the unthinkable can become normal in a democratic society.
Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:
