I miss reaching the end of a feed! I miss that feeling of having seen all I wanted to see (every post chronologically from everyone I follow) and being able to close the app because there's nothing new for me to look at

Social media *should* be boring. Being algorithm and dopamine poisoned is bad, actually.
When your feed dries up for the day, that's your cue to go do something else until new stuff shows up later.

Just saw how much a job I did 10 years ago currently gets paid, and it's about 10% more than it was then.
Inflation in Los Angeles in that time has been 39%.
Anyway, if you've been doing your job for a long time, check the inflation where you live to make sure you haven't slowly gotten a pay cut.

I've never understood some men's obsession with having children (especially male children) as a form of leaving a legacy. Especially since those same men rarely want to help raise those kids. An individual person isn't a monument to your DNA. You didn't actually accomplish anything but reproduce.
