In 1993, Trump signed a mortgage for a Florida home, pledging it would be his principal residence. Seven weeks later, he attested a neighboring property would also be his principal residence.

In reality, he does not seem to have lived in either home.
Trump’s Own Mortgages Match His Description of Mortgage Fraud, Records Reveal

America’s unions protect workers’ rights and freedoms every day. Undemocratic governments see that as a threat — and often retaliate against union leaders.

We join the global labor movement in the call to #FreeLeeCheukYan, who has been imprisoned since 2021 for doing union work.

President Trump’s unlawful executive order to upend AI safety laws infringes on states’ legal right to enact common-sense protections.

80% of people want AI safety rules, but the Trump administration would rather reward tech CEOs than help working people. https://bit.ly/497EJy0

Federal workers care for veterans, inspect our food, keep our air and water clean and so much more. They need a strong voice on the job to keep our services running. The House stood with them in their fight to get their union rights back. https://wapo.st/4s9gpDI
House votes to repeal Trump order ending union rights at federal agencies
Twenty Republicans joined with Democrats to overturn the order, but it faces steep odds in the Senate.

budgets are #moraldocuments
They gave trillions in tax cuts to billionaires, then say there’s no money to feed starving children or treat the sick—but then #Trump renames #DoD to the ‘Department of War,’ which experts expect to cost $1B in logos, emails, uniforms. There is money. #ClassWar #TaxTheRich

Republicans don’t have any ideas that will help Americans. Never have. Just ideas of how to fleece us for their own gain. Healthcare is another example. They don’t care and so we will once again get screwed. The GOP is taking this country backwards.

#VoteThemOut
Others have made this observation but the lasting impact of the shutdown is Republicans are stuck in healthcare hell:

This is big. Raskin was the one largely responsible for getting Rep. Thanedar to back out of his forced vote over the summer, voted against Rep. Green's last article, and is the one many Dems have deferred to and cited when asked why they haven't backed impeachment.

He felt our pressure & flipped!
Something else I missed from today.

Jamie Raskin, the judiciary ranking member, voted to advance impeachment articles.

Here's an update on Arcitc sea-ice extent, which is still at a record low for the date, about 180,000 square kilometers below the previous record daily low set just last year.

This isn't going to end well.

This graph shows the average November volume of Arctic sea-ice. As you can see, November, 2025, set a new record low for sea-ice volume.

Volume, thickness and extent are all at record lows right now for the date. The Climate 8-ball is chanting, "Ice free by twenty-fifty."
