We still have a few places left for our Volunteer Day this Sunday. We will be creating new water vole habitat as well as enhancing the existing wetland scrapes and marginal wetland areas – fun and muddy work so old clothes and wellies recommended. Please register using the link in the comments.

In June we led a three part walk along the Crane Valley Trail - almost 30 miles from the source to the Thames. The report on the @cvp-cranevalley.bsky.social website records the findings of these walks.

Led by River Leader Sam Dhedhi and Lawrence Beale-Collins from the Healthy Rivers Project, the session is a great way to see the park from a new angle. You might even spot a kingfisher!
Whether you fancy getting into the river (waders provided!) or prefer to help from the bank, there’s something for everyone. Litter picking, sorting what is collected, or just keeping the space looking its best makes a difference.
