Structural Enginerd. If your argument for metric is “something…something base 10,” you’re arguing for Fahrenheit. If you acknowledge a pre-1998 college football national champion, you should acknowledge that Kansas is the 2020 basketball national champion.

I mean…for fucks sake…what the shit is going on?
Setting aside the absolucorruption and waste, who the hell wants marble armrests?
I'm sure the 22 million people whose healthcare premiums will triple in six days are delighted by this news, you inhuman fuck.

“How much in taxes pr year do you think it’s possible to collect if you took every penny from billionaires?”

A quick google search will tell you. Somewhere in the range of $7 Trillion dollars.
How much are you going to pay doctors?

Which current hospitals get shut down ?

What happens if doctors opt out of the system ? Who is going to invest in new curative therapies. You ?

How much in taxes pr year do you think it's possible to collect if you took every penny from billionaires?
Half the amount that everyone currently pays could provide universal healthcare. Private health companies don’t need to exist. Eliminate them. And use your collective buying power and economies of scale to get it done. Every cent of their profit is healthcare denied.

Am I too late for festivus grievances? Because I’d really like people to stop performatively saying they ate so much, I can’t eat for three days after Xmas Eve dinner. You had a piece of lasagna and some salad, that’s a perfectly normal dinner.

What we really need to study in this country is Cowboy Derangement Cosplay Syndrome.
Shamp’s Senate Bill 1070 would direct the #Arizona Dept of Health Services to conduct or support research to “advance the understanding of Trump Derangement Syndrome, including its origins, manifestations and long-term effects on individuals, communities and public discourse.”
Arizona lawmaker wants state to study ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’

Lived in KC for a while. Told one landlord I was from Wisconsin. He said he went fishing in Wisconsin once, was driving the boat round the lake for so long his buddy asked what he was doing. “Trying to find the dam, that’s where the fish are.” There are no natural lakes in Kansas.
My very Minnesotan child, looking out an airplane window: “Where are all the lakes? Where is the water? Looks wrong.”

The world would be better off if we could force republicans to watch “The Christmas Carol” Clockwork Orange style on repeat. The Muppets would be my choice for version.

I really don’t understand the hatred of wind turbines. Every time I see one I think, “Look!! A wind turbine” like a 3 year old seeing a dump truck. Then I watch it lazily spinning out there as long as I can.

You have a lot of questions about whether I’m involved in these horrible crimes, already answered by my I’m not involved in these horrible crimes t-shirt.
WELKER: The WH has said Trump is in the files. Can you guarantee every mention & photo of him in the Epstein files will be released?

BLANCHE: Yes. But let me make sure everybody understands: to the extent that he is 'in the files,' it's not bc he had anything to do with horrific crimes. Full stop.

The irony that it’s always something useful like the Pythagorean Theorem in these sorts of posts. Maybe you don’t use it, but I assure the engineers, scientists, and technicians that make the world work around you, use it quite regularly.

Can we please take these two boxing defeats as examples that influencers don’t know what they’re doing and start listening to actual experts again.

Partner got in a minor fender bender. Guy from Edina in a BMW turns left across her path. Jumps out, starts blaming her and bragging about how he also has a Porche. Never beating the Cake Eater rep.

The #1 movie when you were 10 is how your 2026 is going to go.

We were and we are a long way from our Yub Nub Moment, folks. But, you know what? We got there once before and we'll get there again!

If you are buying gifts for multiple people where equality is important, i.e. multiple kids, multiple nieces/nephews, etc. How do you determine that "fairness?" I'd guess most would base it on money spent, but I think number of gifts or mass of gifts is more important.

This is an interesting switch, between R’s typical rhetoric on supposed gov waste. Money is always stated in numbers “$X trillion” even though that is typically 0.0X% of spending, but actual lives are expressed as a small percentage, because 24 million lives is a huge if you actually say it.
MIKE JOHNSON: Here's the false narrative -- Democrats are pretending as though this affects everybody in the country. It affects 7% of Americans, this extended subsidy

CNBC: But we are talking 22 to 24 million Americans

JOHNSON: We're going to help 100% of Americans reduce their premiums
