This is the sh!t that makes survivorship hard. Bad enough we have to spend more time at the docs than the average human, but we also have to deal with crap that prolongs anxiety.

Two lessons:

1. Efficiency plays that put AI above people will cost you.

2. You need professional writers and editors on staff. Just because AI can generate content, doesn’t mean that content is good and that you can cut corners on due diligence.

I just reached my four year mark and can definitely relate to what you're saying. Although I've had to accept some physical compromises, in a lot of ways I've improved over those four years. I'm far more relaxed, severely empathetic and in general, much happier.

Next week marks five years since my first cancer diagnosis.

In that time—two cancers, two surgeries, radiation, pre-cancer. Everything has changed.

But without the version of me who faced it all, I wouldn’t be who I am today. And who I am today will be amazed by what’s ahead.
