sorry, but she cannot be thinking of "the Boy" too much and certainly not with enough empathy. Otherwise, she would stand "fully behind President Trump."
Senator Katie Britt of Alabama stands fully behind President Trump in public, but at times seeks to wield influence behind the scenes, guided by her personal values as a mother and a Christian. Her approach faces an acute test as federal immigration agents pursue aggressive tactics in Minnesota.

This is most certainly part of the plan. There is no possible way this chaos was an unknown result of the effort in Minnesota, and elsewhere: a known known. The administration, especially the leaders of DOJ, are the worst people.
A prosecutor's outburst on Tuesday at a hearing in Minnesota cost her her job and revealed how turmoil in the courts from the Trump administration's immigration crackdown has demoralized prosecutors, outraged judges, exhausted defense lawyers — and left many immigrants languishing in detention.
Surge in Immigration Cases in Minnesota Pushes Prosecutors and Judges to Brink
Remarks by a prosecutor opened a revealing window onto how the courts in the state are buckling under the weight of a deluge of cases arising from the Trump administration’s campaign.

She offered me $2600 to self-deport.
I refused.
I wanted to talk to my attorney.
They didn't tell me the judge had already ordered my release and return to Minnesota.’

Must be in the deep Apocrypha.
Trump is paraphrasing the far less well known scripture portion known as the “Sir-man on the mount” where Jesus advises a sycophantic military leader on how to most effectively and sadistically murder his opponents. Not many people know about those passages.
Trump at the National Prayer Breakfast: "We hit 'em. And we want to hit 'em right, sir, and we want to hit them from the top! East, west, north, south. Sir, they won't know what the hell! And we'll knock them out. We did it politically correct. Five years."

Watching the actual President of my country ramble incoherently like this is SO embarassing and soul crushing. This Republic, with all its problems, was the greatest country on this planet. This person, and his crowd, is destroying the greatness. As Trump liked to write: SAD!!
Trump: "I didn't get 250. I tried to claim it a couple of times. I said, 'I produced 250 year anniversary. It was my deal. I got 250 years.' And the press hit me hard on that one. So I gave it up immediately ... then they rigged the election."

So spot on. Dems are going to miss the opportunities of this moment to save the Republic.
Dems need to abandon the idea, fed to them by certain commentators, that Trump's 2024 win represented a durable cultural shift against immigration. It's blinding them to the possibilities of this moment.
