Canada is big. I went on a road trip to Red Deer AB one year, once I got on the TransCanada out of Winnipeg my GPS told me to go straight for 1335 kms, then turn right. 👍

Yes it’s an interesting phenomenon when we get to this stage of life. Not that we necessarily believed ourselves immortal, but actual mortality starts to become more relevant. This has been driven home for me a couple of times this year.

Nothing any more, all mending. Just some minor surgery with a ‘do nothing for 4 to 6 weeks’ after period.

Swedish term, literal translation is ‘death cleaning’. It’s not as morbid as it sounds. The idea is to sort out your world so someone else doesn’t have to. Kinda like downsizing I suppose.

I’ve been working on my Döstädning for the last while. The clothes are coming up on the hit list of crap to get rid of.
Luckily some of this will be easy, many items seem to have gotten too small for me so I don’t have to decide...

I factory ordered a 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport (my one and only ordered vehicle!) and chose Chrysler's Hunter Green option ‘cause it was so unique. And I like being different! 😉

This isn’t mine but it’s pretty much the same model. Mine had nicer wheels!

As far as Commonwealth Day I heard on the evening news it’s a holiday in Britain but not everywhere else, so I feel a little less dumb.
