John Prine was a remarkable American treasure who left the planet way too soon. I'm not a fan of C/W but I just don't see him as rooted in that tradition. His songs are a gift to the people. Happy belated b'day, John (10/10).

BTW, I just read your review of Mark Nepo's latest book (The Fifth Season) on Goodreads. You do write terrific reviews. Thank you. I have requested that one from the library.
I used to quilt a lot but then work took over. I'm thinking about picking it up again but, yeah, hands might not like that.
