btw I cannot recommend subscribing to this labeler enough, it's AWESOME for hiding/dodging spoilers. all you gotta do is follow + include the appropriate tag in your posts to make sure they get hidden. it's great :) but it's only effective if people use it! so! consider it! bsky.app/profile/labe...

I'm seeing some discussions about Japanese doujin（同人）compared to western indie.

As the owner of a proper doujin circle myself (albeit a low-activity one), I'd like to give some context and insight.

TL;DR "doujin" isn't just "indie but Japanese". It has a rather specific and structured form.

( Painted commissions will stay available all year round, but other types will come and go every few months or so, or whenever there’s a particular style I’m motivated to work within. ) Until then, you can order a commission as offered in the following images, so grab them while you still can!
