ICYMI: The Village of Ashwaubenon is considering an "anti-camping" ordinance. As in all such cases, this is an attempt to criminalize homelessness.

Shelter is a human right, and we call upon Ashwaubenon residents to oppose this ordinance.

I crunched the numbers: the three largest state organizations of the old Socialist Party were Washington, Oregon, & Wisconsin (controlled for pop size)

But only in WI did the socialists consistently lead the union movement, & only in WI was socialism's base broad enough for big electoral victories

With the federal budget at an impasse, we suggest reading up on how the state budget works. The newly enacted budget is once again leaving Wisconsin's schools out to dry.

Come 2027, we will call ALL of our legislators to demand fair funding for every public service! Check the next post for links.

Get to COSTCO for Appleton!!!!

This is an IMMEDIATE call to action for Appleton!

While billions are funneled into cages, cops, and propaganda to prop up a collapsing regime, our schools and children are left behind. We refuse to accept a system that funds walls and wars while classrooms go hungry.

Appleton Area School District. Drop off donations at AASD Welcome Center, 2701 North Oneida Street, Suite C3, Appleton, Wisconsin, 54911. Urgent donation request! We are three weeks into the school year, and we are up to nearly 300 students experiencing homelessness that the district is supporting. Over the past week we have a higher than usual amount of families become completely unsheltered (living in cars, parks, somethings being able to get a hotel room for a night to shower). Some of our typical donations haven't come in yet and we are working together to put food bags to give to these students. Several families will be in on Friday, so hoping to pull some food donations together for these students to have one less worry over the weekend. We will gladly take any donations in this project if anyone is interested in donating. Nonperishable items needed: Granola/breakfast bars, beef sticks, bags of crackers/snacks, trail mix, individual fruit cups or applesauce, individual microwave mac and cheese cups, individual microwave oatmeal, individual microwave soup/spaghetti, etc. Gift cards for Walmart or other local grocery stores to pick up additional items as needed are greatly appreciated.
