I cherish our Constitution and Bill of Rights. I want a country that has achieved social justice and equality. I want a democracy that serves all the citizenry, not exclusively the rich. I want an end to money in politics. I seek a more perfect union.
Instead of giving tax breaks to data centers that suck up huge amounts of energy, cash strapped communities should instead be levying huge taxes on them to increase their tax bases. These communities should also require that data centers fully pay their energy bills without any public subsidies.

This is an example of innovation that is exciting and that could make a big difference and cause a positive impact on lessening the bad effects of climate change.

Many of the horrible things happening right now would not be possible if some SCOTUS members had not been bribed or placed there and then blackmailed or put into their positions by hastily put together rushed sham confirmation hearings by Mitch McConnell and his republican majority senate.

After Russia ends the war, leaves Ukraine in peace and fully intact, and abides by security for Ukraine and the EU, Russia will have to earn trust before it gets any respect. The West and the EU will decide when/if to forgive. Russia will have to work to restore trust before it gets any respect.

I think Congress should forget about having hearings and committee meetings and have Bondi et al arrested for breaking the law for not releasing the Epstein file.
Washington Post's new headline is still wrong.

1. The release was not "huge."
2. DOJ missed the deadline to release all the files.
3, No mention of extensive redactions.

Schiff: "I think we ought to bring Pam Bondi before the Senate Judiciary Committee demand answers as to why the DOJ has violated the law."

Why such niceties? Why don’t these Congressmen simply have Bondi and others arrested for not releasing the Epstein files and breaking the law?
GOP Rep. Thomas Massie and Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna plan to draft articles of impeachment against AG Pam Bondi over the DOJ’s failure to release all Epstein files as required by law.

And doing so, no doubt, at public expense. Texans getting more value for their tax dollars!
Despite having an office of hundreds of attorneys, Ken Paxton is frequently opting for private lawyers — many to whom he has personal or political ties — to argue on behalf of Texas.

One attorney cost taxpayers more than $24,000 for a day’s work.

Not only does he look like he has hydrocephalus, but does Stephan Miller get the protein in his diet from eating roadkill?

Seems like now would be a good time to destroy whatever is left of the russian fleet in the now blockaded port by conventional drones.
Russia has taken a bunch of sunken barges and blocked the navy harbor entrance at Novorossyisk.

The Russian Navy is now locked in the harbor. Nothing is going in or out.

Ukraine blows up one 450 million submarine and Russia panics.

Now the navy ships held there are fish in a barrel for drones.

That is an important statement and one that should not have been prevented from being made public by Merrick Garland after the Supreme Court gave Trump immunity for his crimes while in office. A Congressional hearing of Trump and possible conviction and removal from office SHOULD HAVE taken place.
Former special counsel Jack Smith delivered a striking message to lawmakers today: his team developed “proof beyond a reasonable doubt” that Trump committed crimes related to efforts to overturn the 2020 election and the retention of classified documents.
Jack Smith tells Congress he could prove Trump engaged in a 'criminal scheme' to overturn 2020 election
Smith testified about his investigations into Trump during a closed-door hearing with members of the House Judiciary Committee.

The best leverage Ukraine has in negotiating peace with Russia is continuing its bombing and destruction of Russia’s oil/gas and other infrastructure facilities, and the continued decimation of Russia’s ground forces in the occupied territories.

The tenures of Trump and Putin will end. But a peaceful world will still have to work very hard to establish peace and maintain security and never let its guard down. We will all have to act proactively to stop violence, aggression, bullying, and prevent war and destruction before they start.

Russia still has some influence and power in its former vassal states. But, don’t you remember that Russia suffered defeat in Afghanistan? Russia tries various strategies that fail. Membership in NATO is a good. Solidarity with NATO is important. But members of NATO must rely first on themselves.
