Also unclear if $200bn of tariff revenue can be used to:

1. Give $2,000 to perhaps 300m people. That would need, say, $600bn
... and ...
2. Pay off the national debt. That would need $38tn+
... and ...
3. Replace income tax. That would need $2tn+

... plus if SCOTUS sides with the law, there's $0.
November 28, 2025 at 3:51 PM
Seems unlikely. Let's say $200bn is raised from tariffs each year. That's some way short of the $2tn+ raised from income tax. Ah, numbers.

Of course this is the same guy who said he could eliminate the debt over a period of eight years. Instead it's soaring, adding $1tn every five months or so.

NEWS --> BBC confirms to me that they did edit a line out of historian @rutgerbregman.com's speech. It called Trump "the most openly corrupt president in US history."

BBC also confirms this was done on the advice of lawyers. So Trump's threats worked.

First, British Broadcasting Corporation execs resigned after Trump complained about a segment. Now the BBC edited out a line from a historian that was critical of Trump. Where does this end?

Looks like the good guys may have stepped in just in time. Again.
Of course the Kremlin preferred “Trump’s original proposal.” They wrote it.
