I swear to all of sanity, if I see THAT WOMANS FEET ONE MORE TIME IM GONNA LOSE IT!
otherwise, it was a cute episode. I liked seeing this group of people bonding together to take down the most terrible enemies of their teen years: THE RIVAL SCHOOL!

Just finished watching the first episode of Starfleet Academy, and I've gotta say that as far as pilot episodes go, this one did a great job of introducing everyone nicely.
Also the USS Athena being a learning ship with 4 outward facing viewscreens is a really nice touch and makes so much sense.

And Gemini, the god-awful and intrusive AI assistant, keeps activating for no reason, and there's no wat to deactivate it.
