If you want to figure out which stocks are shitty fraudco’s, pretty soon you’ll just be able to check whether they’re incorporated in Texas.

I appreciate that state’s noble work in making due diligence faster and more efficient.

Look, either our democracy is at stake or it isn’t. You’re fighting for our shared values or you aren’t. But if you say the stakes are high and then cut politically expedient deals like it’s still 2010, you’re undercutting everything else you’re doing.

We’re fed up. FIGHT, DAMMIT!

Funny I never see any Republicans saying these things in pressers.

If one side wants to sow division and chaos, you cannot expect the other side to create magical Kumbaya moments with them.

Under that circumstance, you’re obligated to resist the urge to try while placing blame on the chaos agents.
Shaheen: "When I talk to my constituents in New Hampshire, you know what they say to me? They say, 'Why can't you all just work together to address the problems that are facing this country?'"

Don’t forget that a favorite Trump negotiating tactic is to unilaterally announce that a deal is “close” to put pressure on his counterpart(s) whether true or not.

Not saying that’s what’s happening here but this story is exclusively anonymously sourced.

Don’t (necessarily) believe the hype.

I swear, I’ve seen Lukovich in the AJC for decades, but he’s absolutely risen to the moment in fighting MAGA for the last 8+ years.

Incredible talent. Incredible voice.

We’ll be hanging his work in museums in a few years. Count on it.

I’ll keep saying it: At their first opportunity Democrats need to expand the budget of DOJ and the federal courts 10x, hire ALL the investigators and prosecutors, and prosecute every single corrupt instance from the Trump era.

MAGA beat the drum that a very good economy under Biden was really terrible. Now that economic conditions are obviously worsening, is it any wonder the average American thinks it’s a catastrophe worse than the fiscal crisis of ‘08?

Awful presumptuous to assume they’ll comply.
In a major victory, a court has ordered the Trump administration to send full November SNAP benefits by tomorrow.

I'm relieved that people will get the food they need, but it's outrageous that it took a lawsuit to make the federal government feed its own people.
The Trump administration is still choosing to withhold lifesaving food assistance from millions of Americans.

We're asking a court to require the USDA to release complete SNAP benefits for November.

I'll keep fighting this shameful inaction until every New Yorker is fed.

I have never understood SCOTUS’ unwillingness to make broad rulings on separation of powers issues (going back decades).

If there’s one area of the law where we need courts to provide clarity and establish boundaries, it’s here.
The Supreme Court justices have squirmed to avoid directly ruling on Trump’s epic power grabs. In considering the president's tariffs, they'll have no choice but to act in public. bit.ly/4qGlrqf

Last night’s results were an obvious vote for digging in further on terms.

Break MAGA publicly in this showdown and you can take a big step toward breaking the hold it has on a quarter of us.
Establishment Dems: “We just had a sweeping win proving people want us to fight for them and that we can beat the fascists.”
Also Establishment Dems: “Quick, back to capitulating!”

What an utterly spineless and embarrassing political party.

Me, on the jury after being admonished by the judge to maintain decorum:

“I’m sorry, Your Honor. I’m having a natural human reaction to some of the stupidest crap I’ve ever heard.”
Apparently the jurors can’t stop laughing in the sandwich throwing case in court today.

MAGA is inspiring a dramatic political realignment in the US.

It will be messy. You will not agree with everything your allies advocate for. Do not let our anti-democratic adversaries exploit those differences.

You take the allies you have and sort out differences AFTER the war is won.
