My mission is to write clearly and affirmatively.

It's common to use metaphor and imagery, which is fine, but it can lead to misunderstanding. Overuse is obfuscatory, excessive use is a red flag of intentional bullshitting.

But I get it, a lot of folk are reluctant to say what they really mean.
Fan of Jones in general.

Or maybe just a fan of her style, mox nix.

"ICE and CBP must be abolished" is the only reasonable position. We can debate the specifics of new agencies for immigration functions, but these agencies are simply too infected with a culture of impunity, racism, and fascism to continue. They're gangs with badges.
Armed ICE agents trapped US citizens in a restaurant and demanded their papers. Federal agents walked into East African restaurants in Cedar-Riverside, MN. They closed and blocked the doors. Then they demanded to see everyone’s papers. Every person present was a US citizen.

Justices Roberts, Kavanaugh, & ACB all assisted GW Bush’s legal team in the dispute over the 2000 presidential election results.
The 4th was their colleague, Clarence Thomas, who joined the Supreme Court majority halting a recount & was appointed by GW Bush in 1991.
25 Years After Bush v. Gore, Supreme Court and Election Law Still Feel the Fallout
The 5–4 decision started a long slide in public approval for the court, accentuated by a widening partisan gap.

I consider the decades when we trusted the news companies to tell us important things and basically be honest about it..

Those years were a bit of a dream.

Red pill time, as far as that topic goes.
Yea, it's confusing when everyone uses different information to explain the same thing forcing us to look at multiple sources to understand, which is fine as we shouldn't be using a single source for news, but still...

Mass shootings

Australia - 50 people have been killed since 1996.

America - 390 people have been killed in 2025.

But sure strict gun laws don’t work.

TDS was invented as an insult against those who saw what Trump really is..

And it was weak and ridiculous, like being whipped with a pasta noodle.

The most transparent case of psychological projection ever.

SCOTUS imperial rule can most quickly be solved by Jurisdiction Stripping.

Here's a funny bit of mumbo jumbo claiming JS "won't work" because.. get this, it damages the Separation Of Powers.

So we forced to have a dictator, lest we damage our precious SOP.

It outraged me at the time, and created the frame by which Trump is merely is the same crap, just piled higher and deeper.
The 25th anniversary of Bush v Gore is today. The conspiracy mongering & corruption of the GOP has been brewing for a long time.

Roberts, Barrett and Kavanaugh were all on Bush's legal team, where they pushed unfounded legal theories. SC justices were already enmeshed in voter fraud myths.
Here's Sandra Day O'Connor endorsing News Max levels of voter fraud conspiracies in the 2000 election.

I've always thought that the whole "natural immunity is the best way to protect people" thing was a bit like saying "getting pregnant is the best form of birth control."

Anyway, cool to see it's better for the immune system to see vaccine before virus from an effectiveness standpoint too.
A study on 1.7 million people in Hong Kong shows superior hybrid immunity to Covid in people who got vaccinated before infection vs. people who got infected first. "Our findings are a direct rebuttal to arguments for natural immunity," the authors write. doi.org/10.1016/j.va...

Billionaires are some of the worst people. Even the "good ones" are merely less awful than usual.
Elon Musk is worse at hiding it but this is the problem with all billionaires: they are a threat to democratic governance. They have an insatiable need to own and control everything. If you want to be free you have to curb their power, and demand political leaders who understand that
Elon Musk is against the European Union being the European Union —he posted this after X (fka Twitter) was fined for violations of the EU’s Digital Services Act.

Could it be Trump demands his minions to concoct phoney charge of very specific crimes; the crimes Trump knows about cause he crimed them himself, as all he knows about the world is what he has done in it?
Trump says Lisa Cook is unfit to be a Fed governor because she claimed two different properties as her primary residence on her mortgage applications. (Cook denies this.)

Trump did the exact same thing on mortgage applications submitted a mere 7 weeks apart.
