I have memories there too. 😎

My mom owned the Mobil station at I-75 and 9 mile. Also, we used to go to a drug store in Ferndale that was just off Woodward, they marked down all their merchandise by 40% or something. That would have been in the early ‘70’s.

I’ve come back for the Woodward Dream Cruise in 2023 and 2024. We stay in Birmingham off old Woodward. Usually eat at Loui’s pizza in Hazel Park ( it’s just as I remember it! ) or at a deli, The Embers off Lasher road and Maple.
We also dine at some of the new places in Birmingham.

Per CDC source: At internal leadership meeting this afternoon, it was shared that 1,257 people were RIF'd at CDC. Number may not be final. Apparently, chief of staff was unaware that RIFs were going to occur so not clear who is making decisions. (Short 🧵)
