Done adding things to the Mystery database for the time being. Everything from NES to Dreamcast is on there, as well as arcade (MAME-compatible), and then some stuff after Dreamcast/on PC. Fightcade and Arkadyzja compatibility is on there as well.

The fact that we'll never get GW2 (or the Project Gotham games) on Steam is a travesty. GW2 on XBL had some of my favorite "log in, see friend beat your score, cuss loudly, stay awake for 5 extra hours to beat score, send message, go to sleep" moments on the platform, of which there were a *lot*.

Every day I come to realize that I made a mistake closing up shop, and that everything I did, minus Mystery (thank you Chris), more or less never happened. To be fair, I never thought I was breaking new ground or that I was big/important, but I still kick myself about this roughly every day.

Last week I finished going through all of the free local multiplayer games in Steam and added ~220 to the database. Haven't tested them because that's a lot of games and I'm still doing research. So if you're looking to run something new in Mystery and are tight on money, might find something there.

I think this is unfair to turkey. turkey is good but hard to cook well because it is so damn big. turkey *parts* are great but lack the esthetic appeal of a centerpiece bird.
it is tired to the point of cliche to say if turkey was good, people would make it more than once a year. but it is understated that at least one American explodes every Thanksgiving in a brave attempt to make the main dish more palatable
