Meanwhile in Turkey, competitive authoritarianism is slowly but surely shedding its "competitive" aspect and moving toward full "authoritarianism."
This morning, opposition circles in Turkey are discussing the possibility of the Turkish courts preventively removing the CHP leadership before the hearing on 15 September (allegations of fraud on the 38th Congress), in order to avoid counter-measures by the party.

According to this 2025 report by Friedrich Ebert Foundation, many immigrants to Germany leave the country after a while mainly because of the lack of a "welcome culture", which prevents them from developing a sense of belonging, and dissatisfaction with the social environment.
