This side is much more regular. Machine stitching tomorrow, remains to be seen how much I like it as a garment in general. Cautious optimism.

Half done, including affixing one of the ties. I have to stop for now, my back hurts a lot and this is also my dining table.
Five of probably 25. Tedious! The results will hopefully justify it.

I need to 1) baste this a bunch,
2) attach the ties (they'll look way better if they emerge from in between the layers, and I need to wrap my head around that
3) machine sew most of it
4) turn it inside out
5) hand sew the rest
6) possibly iron it as a finished garment.

(I'm procrastinating)
Too ample with the brown, I could have saved like a foot of it. Shucks.

It's probably crazy to try and cut all four layers at once, even just as a quick and dirty costume piece, yeah?
The lining fabric needs an iron way more than the fashion fabric somehow, how about that, eh?
How have I not done cosplay before, putting on the game OST while carving up a bedsheet is an undeniable joy, lol

(I'm going to iron it before making it into a cape! Don't worry!)

My work is so physically demanding! I gotta get worse at it, or else find like fifteen good trap stretches cause oww my dudes
In retrospect I'm kind of mad that this situation just worked out for me - I learned nothing and give some credence to "doing nothing can be as good as doing something", excusing future inaction.

I am glad she got her item though.
No kudos for being passive instead of proactive, but a weight is lifted regardless.
Fortunately for me cause I didn't really want to provide a total stranger with my contact information and was only going to bite the bullet and make a burner email to contact them from tomorrow, and now I don't have to.
Context: someone typod their address and boots got misdelivered to me instead on Thursday, and they had left a note with contact info. Everyone in the house was "not my problem"ing it. They came to leave another note today and heard me leaving before they were gone, so I was able to return it.
I did go a little 0-60 with it to be fair, think I'm vaguely in the process of quitting red meat, but I still get a lot of fast food, so anything with real dietary fibre at all is a development
Why do tasty and marginally healthier foods give me so much gas. Like yes, we've all heard about musical fruits and so on, I should just assume it's a known quantity and move on.
But also there's an infinite amount of this stuff that's the same for me, right? Just learned last year about the McDonald's ketchup and mustard guns for putting precision amounts on burgers and millions of people have operated those. Wild.
Thinking about domain knowledge this morning. Specifically, I'm pondering how things that are commonplace to me due to work would be novel experiences to others (things like handling a year's salary in cash at once).
