I would love to see Wirtz, Isak, Ekitike start a game.

What you have with Mo is a problem.

His lack of defensive work is usually made up by the fact he's constantly a threat going forward.

But when he's not firing, then you've got a liability in the team.

A liability you just gave a two year extension which made him one of the club's highest earners.

Great win. Really solid, bar a slightly nervy last 10.

Time to build on this.

Slot and the boys just need a bit of a run here to try ad salvage this season.

Unbelievable. It was so obvious he was going to be sent off. West Ham players should have been holding him back there.

Unreal stupidity.

Not sure why Slot keeps pulling Isak off. Keep him in for a full 90. Surely it's more beneficial to him?!
November 30, 2025 at 3:32 PM
What a finish. Get in.

Wirtz has been brilliant. Kerkez has looked solid too, thought he should get a mention considering his form of late.
November 30, 2025 at 2:55 PM
Gomez looked class. Who would that thought?

All that was missing that first half was a goal. Isak is unlucky not to have one goal - denied by a solid save.

The issue Liverpool have had this year is the intensity and desire has disappeared in the second half - let's see if it'll be different today.

Solid start by Liverpool.
November 30, 2025 at 2:30 PM
Lose today and I'd have to say Slot must go.

There's only a handful of managers you would go and get if you replace Slot, and almost all of them are unavailable.

That's the issue here.

Wonder if a Klopp interim would work... 👀

Arne Slot is a league-winning Liverpool manager, one of only two in the last 35 years, and deserves every respect. However, I'm not sure he can or should survive this. Nine defeats in 12 and seven goals conceded in the last two at Anfield. This squad is so much better than that.

Liverpool have lost nine of their last 12 games across all competitions, their most defeats over a 12-game spell since November 1953 to January 1954 (also 9). (Opta)

Awful stats coming out from everywhere, it seems.

I reckon the Liverpool execs are looking at who could come in...
Liverpool have conceded 3+ goals in three consecutive games in all competitions for the first time since September 1992. (Opta)

Yikes.

Slot could genuinely get sacked before Amorin.

There aren't many teams anywhere who've conceded 2+ goals more times than Liverpool this season (12).

Gakpo has been the square root of awful.
November 26, 2025 at 9:26 PM
I reckon I could grab a goal against Liverpool right now.
November 26, 2025 at 9:20 PM
Truly dire football here.
November 26, 2025 at 9:17 PM
It can't go on like this much longer, surely...?

Despite the disallowed goal, Liverpool have been awful.

Midfield needs to offer themselves more and get the ball of Konate.

Front three have been awfully quiet too.

That game was the perfect game for Bradley to showcase what he's about.

Issue is, his injury record and consistency. If he can keep his injuries at bay, and get an extended run in the first team, I reckon we'll see a lot more performances like we did tonight.

Excellent game, CB.

Wirtz, Szobo, Macca, and Gravy were brilliant tonight.

Tenacious, technically brilliant, and were unlucky not to get a goal / assist more between them.

Looked far more solid too, but that was also thanks to the likes of Robbo and Bradley putting in big shifts.
