"Edward is a useless old steampot, he should be retired"
"But he doesn't have tyres..."

Edward, in fact, did have tyres, and was now on his way to show up that fuckass 86 everyone’s talking about

Behold: the West Shore Railroad gay people units

I'd like to go back and redo or touch up some of these, but 5523 I think is perfect as is

Oh boy it's ANOTHER figure of the brakeman! I deadass need to make figures of literally anyone else, this guy has FOUR all to himself
A closeup of a model locomotive on a workbench. A figure is standing on the rear of the tender, with a foot in a stirrup and a hand holding onto a grab iron. The figure has been modified to look like an anthropomorphic american shepherd.

Rewatching Initial D

Why didn’t Kasume give Itsuki her number

First-Third Stage take place in the same year, landlines exist and Ryosuke has a cellphone

They totally could’ve kept in contact

Me: "Ough I should draw this dumb thing"
Me ten seconds later (I just remembered I need to draw Jay hitting the [ C O O L V I B R A T I O N S ] pose):

There’s also a Thomas reference, but that one was kinda obvious when I first saw it, it actually took me a second to figure out the Initial D reference
hacksworthsidings.bsky.social
My friend Tay got me into Road Trip Adventure the other day, was playing through with her guiding me and we spotted this fucking amazing Initial D reference, where all the car NPCs in the houses in one area were all ones featured in Initial D, in the right liveries

This was awesome lmao
A blue “Sileighty” (Nissan 180sx with a Nissan Silvia front end), Mako Sato & Sayuki’s car in Initial D A green Nissan S13, Koichiro Iketani’s car A yellow Mazda RX-7 FD3S, Keisuke Takahashi’s car A white Mazda RX-7 FC3S, Ryosuke Takahashi’s car, going in order we saw the Sileighty, the S13, the FD, and ended on the FC, I literally said “watch as the next cars an FC”, low and behold it was an FC, even better is how the AE86 Trueno is an available car in the game

Whoever decided to add this Easter egg is a genius and deserves a raise even though it’d be 23 years too late

I know we didn't ""place"", but, like, honorable mention in a national model railroad contest is still pretty sweet!

My father (right) and myself (left) pose behind a small 1x2 foot diorama recreation of a scene from Buster Keaton's movie "The General". The scene is a little hard to make out due to its small size in the image, but it includes a steam train on a wooden bridge in the middle of breaking under the weight of the train.

REMEMBER #ARTISTS

Being Perfect is boring

Perfect means you've peaked but you're always improving and trying new things.

Never be perfect, aim to be you and aim to have fun when drawing.
